your saying i have to cut it??? I thought crbd mounted them in a way you could take them off and sell the car as reg evo if you ever wanted to go back to stock as it stands if you cut theres no going back unless you replace the whole quater flare.

No you don't have to cut it, mine aren't cut. You just can't run a really wide wheel unless you cut it or have your quarters cut and pulled

Your missing the whole point open your mind quad. Some of us just want to show out at shows im talking about buying another evo chroming the engine bay out then putting a widebody on it just for shows only not taking it to the track just there for shows so i was wondering if i used it and wanted to sell it i dont want to hack it up you know. thats why i was asking. Ill have the blue bomber for track race duties and another one that just there to go to shows and collect dust just wanted to know if the rear fenders without cutting was possible and still get the same look

yes sir i know. you should know me by now i have cars that are just there. i like the voltex look for sure but i would be scared to drive it on the streets here in LA to many dumb people. I dont need my 7k body kit getting tboned so ill just use it for shows and leave it at that nothing wrong with that. I just like to get all the facts about something so i know all angles for sure

Yes you can and Really once you have the kit ether Pull and flare the hell out of the fender or cut them so you dont have rubbing issues

I had my fenders cut to the point where they didn't need to get welded. But after attempting to clear the steepest driveway ever, I cut my tires on the corners of the fenders when the suspension compressed. So now I have to cut even more and this time welding is required.

I don't know if the regular widebody will have the same issues though, as the wheels won't need as low an offset as a Cyber kit would. Just wanted to put that out there.

What is the point of having over fenders if you aren't going to cut your oem to fit bigger wheels?

Great question. If you would like we can all go in my Delorean back to the time where that was discussed.
