thanks again jid2

I think shorter people will still benefit from the seating position with respect to the steering wheel and especially the pedals. Line of sight out the window is the only area of concern. Try "crouching" down 1.5 inches and check out your visibility and line of sight. If it seems OK, you are good to go and will definitely like the new position in relation to all the cars controls (wheel, stick, pedals).

Installed mine and I freakin LOVE them. Just got the driver side, but will probably get the pass side soon. I'm 6"2", and the steering wheel position is very much improved. My first track event is coming up soon. That'll be the real test, and I know i;m going to like the result.

These PWN at the track - that's why I built the first set.

With all the power mods and cool rims, people still consider these one of their top mods.

Let me know when you want the passenger side, I've got them in stock!

I'll see if I can find a normal lancer locally to take a peak at.

Some more feedback from a recent installation.

My favorite thing is the better position and having the wheel tilted all the way down instead of all the way up, and still being able to read speedo and tach.

....too bad these torque specs weren't up yesterday....doh

Another guy who just installed, from the Evo General Thread.

This is one of the first mods I've done to the Evo. Going back and forth from my DSM to the Evo, I felt like I was driving a truck when I'd sit in the thing. haha.

I'm enjoying the Evo even more now. I was so excited I was making people sit in my seat at a local evo meet last night. You might be seeing a few more orders coming.
