You obviously have never studied or witnessed this matter...if 10hp doesn't matter to you that fine. These losses can be realized on a 350whp car not 800hp...sorry.

If your talking the Trust Ti-R it goes: (existing) 3" Test pipe ---> 2.95" (75mm) ---> 3.15" (80mm) Your over exaggerating it.

I am mostly referring to the TI-C tapering down to 2.5in, which I have seen cause some power loss on 350-400whp cars. According to SE the TI-R still tapers to 2.75in https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ack-stock.html Not really a big deal too me but at that price it shouldn't imo. Since you own it can you confirm it only tapers to 2.95in, I was really comtemplating shelling the extra $$$ for this but reading about the taper, no rear o2, and a slip fit at the rear somewhat worries me. Are you really satisfied with yours, also how loud is the sucker?

I'd have to take it off the measure the ID again, but I remember measuring it before and I think the opening was close to 3". The other end of the pipe was under 3 1/4.

It's a lot louder at idle and under most throttle conditions. Sometimes droning. However at WOT it sounds pretty sweet and without changing anything else the butt dyno feels like it pulls more, haven't confirmed that though. I had a 3" Skunk 2 catback prior to this.

I have to admit when I got it I thought to myself, "why would they do this?"

Until they eff up your Titanium. Make sure they know how to weld Titanium first or you'll ruin it.
