Greddy Ti-C (unmodified) but I trimmed the corner of the exhaust hole slightly because it was touching the canister and making the bumper look crooked.

Took off the kakimoto regu 96DB-R and decided to go with the 2.75" HKS super turbo muffler instead of something 3" titanium!

 

i was really hoping this was a 3 inch unit.

 

Yeah necks down at the cat to 2.5" like most exhaust but I have cut out that section and replaced it with 3" pipe and flange.

Plenty of people pushing decent power through 2.5-2.75" cat backs as long as your front section dump/front/cat are decent 3" shouldn't have a problem.

If your going for every last hp figure than yeah go 3"

Anyone have an idea of what the amount of difference is from the usdm bumper to a jdm bumper as far as inches it comes in toward the muffler. I have a good amount of clearance on my usdm bumper to my muffler and am trying to get an idea if im goin to need to modify my exhaust or not when I get my jdm rear.

I have a question. With the JDM Exhaust angled up and sticking out a little bit, and if you park your car outside. What's the possibility of the exhaust getting filled with water while raining. I'm at the AZORES and it rains a ton over here and I don't have a garage. I realize this today when my car park outside and about to do a install on a JDM style exhaust. Anybody got any ideas?

 

it will get some water in it. Won't hurt anything though, as soon as you start the car it'll all blow out and dry up. I've even seen snow build up in the end of the muffler when it's snowing. If you're worried about it, cover up the tip somehow, I'm sure something as simple as a plastic bag and a rubber band would work, just don't forget to take it off before you start the car. Though of course you could come up with a more professional solution, this would just be a quick fix.
