it will get some water in it. Won't hurt anything though, as soon as you start the car it'll all blow out and dry up. I've even seen snow build up in the end of the muffler when it's snowing. If you're worried about it, cover up the tip somehow, I'm sure something as simple as a plastic bag and a rubber band would work, just don't forget to take it off before you start the car. Though of course you could come up with a more professional solution, this would just be a quick fix.
