as all new hot cars the dealers see this and try to rape people, look at the Ford GT
now they cant find people to buy them once the market got saturated with them.
If you want to be the first in a particular area to have something that no other person has then off course you will pay.

Well I guess Mitsu wants to help out the loyal customers by making it even MORE unavailable by raising the price 5 grand.

For $5000: I could buy a Nissan 240sx, swap in a SR20DET, bolt ons, weight reduction, and it would probably be faster in a straight line than the X. Add some coilovers, and it'll handle better too.

i just came from a mitsu dealer in MA and they had a X there... wanted $42,300 with out the SSS paqckage. thats rape

How the hell can they charge a "Dealer Adjustment" and a "Lack of Availability" Fee? F that place, they can go pound sand. $7500 mark-up is *** rape...

That is a ridiculous price markup. I was at my Mitsubishi dealer yesterday and they had a $3,000 markup on all the Evo X's and even on all the Lancer models.

I'll definetely wait a year or two before I decide to buy a X or a GTS.
