thats not good that your freeze plugs keep coming out.. that means your building way to much pressure in your coolant system. you need to figure out why they are blowing out, make sure you dont have a blown head gasket

Sorry, I know this is a total Newbie question, but what are the freeze plugs? Those discs that look like an upside down spray paint cap on the block? And did that cause that smoke to flair up?

yes there the safety caps on the block so the block doesnt crack in case you pressurize the coolant system, they blow out to relieve pressure so nothing happens to the case of the block

What's the smoke coming from under the hood? What's causing that? Nice flams though... I would of gotten some marshmallows if I was there

that's the freeze plug blowing out due to much pressure and or overheating in the cooling system from a blown headgasket
