it is really simple dont make it seem harder then it is, you sand smooth basicly not to break through old clear basiclly if it is just faded and no damage go over the entire CF piece lightly to scuff the the clear to give the new clear something to stick to. and the clear that i said to get should come in a prof spray can so no gun needed thats why i said it was totally DIY. once you scuffed it , make sure there is no dust on it and lay out some even thin coats of clear down, it should dry real fast so you can lay the next coat down bout 10 min after the first give it bout 5 coats then let it dry and you should be good to go and no buffing .

 

Everything else made it sound really complicated, but thats the explanation I was looking for.

Buy a sander sand it buff/polish it and re clear it so easy did mine in 1 hour and looks spanking new.

 

Theres a shop in the vendor forums that does it for like 150. I will be sending mine to him. I am not going to risk screwing mine up cause I wanted to save a couple of bucks.
