I swear its got a purpleish pearl effect to it

 

The 06 and 03 are not the same color black. I've had both and my 06 is much more purple than my 03 ever was. That being said I have the Tarmac Black JDM Rear and it matches just fine since you never really see the purple color across the entire car.

 

Ok I think im gonna go for it, now my next question is, cheapest place to get one

wicked white is the same as igloo white

 

I purchased mine from speed element. It came with the tow hook cover and required rivets. I paid $600 shipped less than a year ago. Not sure what they run now.

yea its definately purpleish. my paint is pretty old now and after much sun exposure... my car looks semi purple in the sun. I mean its not bad looking, just... not black. that is.. aside from all the swirl marks on a black car, cause i like to wash it with a brillo pad.

 

^pretty sure that's where the "pearl" comes in with "tarmac black pearl"

the pearlescent gives off the purpleish hue.

 

I think labrodor black and tarmac black are the same

 

just read the color code thread and it says they have the same code number. Hmm i learn something new everyday. Should be just fine with the jdm bumper then. Good luck.

 

its the same color, TB and Lab black...I have a jdm rear and matches up perfect.

 

when they give you the paint touch up pen its the same ****
