When it comes time to paint it are you going to pull everything and freshen it up? I am not picking on the car by any means, it looks great, but after all of that work I would pull everything apart once painted and clean the engine up, tranny, engine bay etc. There is already so much into it that it would not take much more to have it just looking really clean. Not show car or anything, just nice and clean. Are you going to paint/seal the underside when it comes time to paint it?

It looks like one hell of a project and I too am looking forward to seeing the final results.

when I paint it. It will be done the right way sense I am a auto body tech. the car will come apart and get jamed and put back together to be sprayed with out the bumpers, wing, skirts on it. there will not be any glass in the car when it is painted eather.

I painted the engine bay before the engine and tranny went in the first time. It just need to be touched up and needs a good cleaning. The valve cover is going to get re powder coated hot pink sense the first dnp manifold on it cracked and made it fade out to barbie pink.

It will never be a full show car I cant stand show only cars I love to beat the crap out of my cars. Also this is just my every day beater car.

here is a link for my talon that I painted a few years ago. Now it is fully detuned from the 452whp car that it was to mostly stock so the wife can drive it now

The auto climant controler went out a few weeks ago. I got lucky and found one on ebay in the UK and picked it up for 40pounds shipped (about 80.00)

also I sold the full alpine flip out set up to Mikey B and got a great deal on a 2din JVC deck and a new ipod cable

also found a replacement a-piller plastic at u pull it. had to take out part of the cage to get it back in there.

sense I had to take part of the cage out I move the wiring for the greddy gauges to the emtey spot under the heat vent.
