Unhappy First paint chips (pics)

So I finally ran into the inevitable. I came out to my car this morning and did my usual quick inspections, only to find some nasty rock chips on my bumper. They look like a cat came by and clawed it.

Is there a cheap fix for this, or should I just live with it, knowing more will come. Or how much will a paintshop charge to fix it?

there are alot of kits for little chips like that on cars...i have done it before...you can go to most any auto parts store and they will sell it...you just need to get the matching paint first....

or you could do what i did and buy a black evo....notice how the bumper is naturally black...you will never notice chips...ha ha

live with it. that part of the bumper will get destroyed over time, at which point you can justify re-painting it

Paint shops will charge you quite a bit for this "small job".

How good are the kits, how do they work, and where would I buy the matching color? First flaws are always most painful, heh.

That looks just like you hit something on the highway at speed. A good Carbon Fibe splitter would cover that and not get damaged or marred up as much as the soft paint.

At least the front won't rust.
I have several stone chips behind my back door.
They happened within 2 weeks of ownership.

factory color match, with (claimed) no need for clear-coat.
