Full Flat-Bottom Undertray EVO
...For the rear diffuser I plan to cut out the rear bumper to the level of that spare tire well so the diffuser can transition up the back of the car. To balance cost, and performance the rear diffuser will most likely be thermoformed plastic of some sort. Sheet metal is kinda ugly and not easy to make with nice curves without expensive tooling. Carbon is great but $$$$ and I'm not into fiberglass with a carbon top sheet. So thermoforming seems to be a good fit. That project is a little bigger undertaking.

HMMMM I need something like this. I'd need some custom work though
I'll definitely be putting them to good use and testing their effectiveness properly... And I'm in WA! Let's talk
I'll be over there tomorrow (actually, I have to go to Speedware to pick up some stuff) so I might be in your area.

Bah! I'm leaving Thursday for a race. PM me and let's talk. I can certainly do some good tests, the type of racing we do is sustained high speeds (usually 130-140mph over 100mi) and as you can imagine aerodynamics are a huge concern of mine.

I just got back from my first real drive with the underpanel, it was just across town to get gas... But the engine came up to full temp and I made a few pulls. When I got home I immediately got out and put my hand on the aluminum underpanel directly under the exhaust it was COLD to the touch, not even warm. By no means is this anything conclusive, but it's a better sign than it being HOT!
Fo_Sho, are you doing open road challenge type of stuff like the Silver State Classic?

Drove 50 miles to work today, first half is cruising at 70 mph, second half is cruising at 40 mph, with occasional stops. Got to work - underpannel COLD.
We'll see how it does this afternoon at the track.
