Main thing i think is emission regulations. But yea where i'm from u don't see many new evos on the island they have alot of the older ones so i see why u would want to be different.

 

where are you from? also i just like the styling more of the newer evos though the evo 3's are very nice in a sense because i driven a few of them and they are very easy to modify for a good price being that the eclipse has the same motor the newer evos have more aftermarket parts to offer and are much easier to get a hold of being that the states are like couple hundred miles from here

I'm from st. kitts. i like the old school though my favs are the 3, 5 and the 7. If u really want to be different get an FTO GPX and bolt on the twin turbos from the stock non MIVEC DOHC version of the 6a12. Dats what i would of done if i was still back home. As for gettin a newer evo i wouldnt do it unless u have the money for freight. I would stick with an older model and use the extra money to mod it. But dats jus me do what u feel is right for u either way u still apart of the Mitsu fam.
