Anyone who puts a carbon fiber hood in place of an aluminum one either just likes pretending it makes them faster or the way it looks. You want to save 2lbs off your car? I can think of cheaper ways than a CF hood. Also, most people get canards for looks, not for any aerodynamic track advantage.
If you like the way it looks, do it up.
"zomfg it's heavier than stock!!!"

k thanks, ill look into them but i wanna see what some look like, like diff styles and stuff but i said i didnt care about weight because what another 5 pound on a street car. and wen i get rims, i was think of purchasing one more for a spare, so wen i get a flat or something, i can have the same wheel on my car so it doesnt look like crap and i wont have to get a new tire in a hurry. sounds gay, but wen you get a flat you'll no how it feels

However having a differently worn tire than the other 3 is something you shouldn't be doing anyway, so I don't see much point in buying a 5th wheel. When you fix the tire, you mightaswell fix the wheel at the same time. You won't be racing with a spare one way or a nother, even if it's a brand new RT615.

Here are some pix of my CF Seibon Hood and yes it only weighs couple of lbs less than stock...I bought it because my stock alluminum hood got hail damaged while I was in TX.... I run canards because I like how it looks, I could never tell if it makes a difference because I don't have a wind tunnel. And finally I don't care if I called a ricer because I like how my car looks... have a nice day!
