I'm only 23yrs old. I live with a roommate in a duplex and am going to school. I work full time, and my job pays for my school.

I figured I would buy the Evo and have it paid off by time I got out of school. Then I would have a nice car that's paid off, and be ready to buy a nice house without having to worry about a car payment.

No credit cards, no personal loans, just a broke bank account

is there something im missing out on or something im missing??
its actually really simple if you think about it.... if you are single and under 30... unless you are shmuck and have a decent paying job, its easy to just dump all your cash into a car, most guys under 25 DO NOT own a house yet so their priorities are some place else... their Evos

now you throw in a marriage and one kid to anyone under 30 and its bye bye Evo... not everyone but once you added that extra responsibility, unless you are making decent money, than most likely they will not be able to spend as much in their cars. Remember just because some one drives a nice car or a heavily modded car doesn't mean they have their priorities straight or finances in order.... and Evos are not really expensive cars to begin with...

That would pay my mortage twice and I would still have enough for a 1/4 tank of gas...Damn its cheap to live where I live. I bought a fixer up repo.

why is this in show n shine.

Anyway, for the younger guys I think its simply they work extremely hard and maybe live at home. Thats a nice formula to afford modding an evo. No rent goes a long way
