well...all i can say is... it sucks

last night around 11:00ish i was heading towards the fox valley mall on ogden. i went to make a left turn off ogden on to frontenac while i had the green arrow and i got nailed. as i started to make the turn i noticed the lady wasnt stopping so i tried to stop before entering her path. sadly, it didnt work haha. Her airbag deployed in her van but neither of my airbags went off. she told the police that she had blacked out or something and she has taken 100 % responsiblilty for the accident.
the good news: nobody was hurt. me and my passenger, another guy from this forum, were both ok and the lady driving the car that hit me was fine. also they said that the lady needs to go to the doctor before she is allowed to drive again to prevent the same thing from happening again.

i received a call from the body shop today and the guy said that it was just under 19k to fix all of the damage : ( so now all i can do is wait i guess....

what a shame good thing ur ok if u creeped out further she coulda pretty much t-boned u. Stupid ppl like that deserve to have there licensee taken right away, but thats most likely totaled i think even if the airbags didnt deploy

OUCH.....if its not totaled you could always upgrade to the a Voltex body kit.

 

pretty big update. I'd check the gap between the hood and the front left fender, it doesn't seem to lineup right???
