I have the type 2 so I can put the wing back on w/o removing the lip spoiler. I love it and go back and forth more regularly now too. It makes you feel like you have a new car each time I change.

The c-west does look pretty good

and mulholland don't hate on the bench I happen to like it alot lol.

Thanks for the comments .

From the looks of it all the Rexpeed Type - 1 guys are starting to pop up.

BTW, for those curious I found a trunk lid for a 2003 Lancer ES from a local junkyard through the following website:

http://car-part.com/

I looked for a trunk lid without body damage (no dents or deep scratches) and brought it to a body shop for painting.

The trunk can cost between $150-$200 (you can haggle the price) and painting can cost anywhere from $200+.

I still have my winged trunk if I ever decide to go for the big wing look again.

It looks nice, but many of us are more interested in the high speed effects and downforce. The stock wing is there for a functional reason - not for looks. These Rexpseed ones do look cool. Does anyone have statistics on them or know if any wind tunnel testing was done (or just track testing with metrics)?

6-speed, are the Lancer trunks also very lightweight mild steel?
