are those gauges really cheap? they look cheap, why did you choose them?

I am using some of these for my audio system, and they have a different look than many.

 

Some might not like the looks, but I wanted plain looking gauges that would match the red of our gauge cluster at night w/o being too bright. Also autometer gauges are relatively inexpensive, so when buying three it had to be nicely priced (cheap).
