Opinions on motor mounts needed
Getting a new AS 05 evo and I was wondering what kind of power can the stock motor mounts withstand? Also what kind of upgraded aftermarket mounts are close to stock feel or not to harsh?
I am using the power flex mounts, the one in the front and then the ones on each side, not the one in the back-- if you use just the front one--there is quite a bit of vibration, once I added the side mounts ( frt motor/trans ) then is was much better. Others have seen the same thing, so i would use at least these three--- forget the stiffy mounts and other temp fixes-- these will also ease shifting as the trans and motor wont rock--. Lost a tran case in a nissan due to too much flex in mounts--so I really beleive in these.

I have had the AMS motor mount inserts and there front solid crossmember. It
Made such a huge difference in shifting and launching the car. (to me it did). I put them
In when my motor was stock with 11k miles. Doesn't vibrate much at all. Maybe im just use to it.
