Looks like the tokyo drift evo

 

it was setup to look like it from toyo tires as a promotion to the movie. i got it from them and had it for 2 years before starting to make it my own!

 

Nice car man. The goast decals are nice. But don't listen to everyone here and watch out for the growing number of hater who say a car has to be lowered on ce28's or advas rs with carbon lip, bonnet and jdm 9 rear bumper.haha

Whats next of the mods list?

 

Also wanted to add that this is the first Evo 8 I have seen pull off sticking with the stock wheels and they actually look damn good!

You could probably do all four Brembo's in a day. Cure overnight. I redid a set once:

I must have a completely different filter on my eyes than everyone else. I don't know how anyone can look at that car and call it "sick."

- The window vents have no business on a car like that with stock suspension, and then seeing you talk about needing a "good set of springs" just makes me cringe, because that means it's obvious the vents were in preparation for a race setup...just for show, I guess
- The stock ride height looks crappy. I have no problem with stock ride height on stock or even modded cars, but when you have a big graphic like that and window vents, it invokes the WTF face :wtf:
- Why is the outside of the rim silver? Shouldn't that also be painted black? It looks terrible unless I'm just seeing things.

The rest of the car would look nice if not for these things. Black is always nice, and even the black painted or powdercoated stock rims look nice. At first, I was LOL'ing at you talking about needing "nerve" to post pics online, but then I saw the pics and understood. I'm floored that so many people are talking about how "sick" it is.

-I don't think its a "filter" you have on your eyes...maybe a film.
-The window vents were put on (and can be easily removed) so that when Im at the track with windows up (to make a pass) Im not cooking in Ga heat.
-stock ride height does look crappy...too bad for you I haven't even had the car for a year yet so please continue to "flame" me for doing research on the best product for my driving, road conditions, and taste.
-The graphics were added because I went with AMS and they've been real good to me so it was a "thank you" to them. I guess we all can't have...

-The outside lip was left that way to seperate the rim from the tire but you must have missed that when you hated...I mean read through my thread. Again, doing little things so my evo isn't like everyone elses.

Your post would have been nice if not for those things. I can take "constructive criticism" but I didn't get that from your post. I know this is a lot for you and it takes a lot for me to get upset but I've always learned if you don't have a solution don't b!tch. I don't see you looking for my address to send me some nice sponsored parts. So, my solution to you is to take a "hate-cation" and relax some. We ALL can't have your "beautiful" EVO. If you're ever in the area we can have a and about this to show you there are no hard feelings.

 

Thank you CompscibOi for your comments. Seems like you can appreciate my ideas unlike some others and you know who you are. I'll definately get with you when I make my trip down to Orlando. I'll need to find a place to stay the night or we can stay up and party all night until they dry.

dont worry Chris this is just like him. nothing is ever good enough in his "filtered" eyes : he thinks he's the all mighty Evo GOD :

everyone has different taste! bottom line. not everyone is going to understand nor like someone elses mod path but as long as the owner is happy than F*&K the rest! but hey we fight for his freedom to be that way! the car looks great and is cared for like crazy! keep it up Chris!
