1st Pics Ever on a forum
oh boy here goes Warrtalon with his form of constructive criticism
dont worry Chris this is just like him. nothing is ever good enough in his "filtered" eyes
: he thinks he's the all mighty Evo GOD
:
everyone has different taste! bottom line. not everyone is going to understand nor like someone elses mod path but as long as the owner is happy than F*&K the rest! but hey we fight for his freedom to be that way! the car looks great and is cared for like crazy! keep it up Chris!

Thanks man.
See you at the track tomorrow or are you going to stop by the house after I detail those 2 cars?
Thanks, I got them from Carbontrix/Road Race Engineering. Let them know I put you on to them about it. Don't think Rock knows how much advertising I'm doing for him right now. It took me a few weeks to find them and then I had to wait to get them custom made. but Road Race has a few on hand so get them while you can.
-I don't think its a "filter" you have on your eyes...maybe a film.
-The window vents were put on (and can be easily removed) so that when Im at the track with windows up (to make a pass) Im not cooking in Ga heat.
-stock ride height does look crappy...too bad for you I haven't even had the car for a year yet so please continue to "flame" me for doing research on the best product for my driving, road conditions, and taste.
-The graphics were added because I went with AMS and they've been real good to me so it was a "thank you" to them. I guess we all can't have...
Sponsors:
Revolutions Performance || Shepherd Racing || Exedy
VIP Garage || Tobz Performance Tuning
in our sig so I do what I can to rep the shops that help me.
-The outside lip was left that way to seperate the rim from the tire
but you must have missed that when you hated...I mean read through my thread.
Again, doing little things so my evo isn't like everyone elses.
Your post would have been nice if not for those things. I can take "constructive criticism" but I didn't get that from your post. I know this is a lot for you and it takes a lot for me to get upset but I've always learned if you don't have a solution don't b!tch. I don't see you looking for my address to send me some nice sponsored parts. So, my solution to you is to take a "hate-cation" and relax some. We ALL can't have your "beautiful" EVO. If you're ever in the area we can have a

about this to show you there are no hard feelings.

about this to show you there are no hard feelings. - Doing things to be different means nothing. If it's ugly, it's ugly. The rims look ugly with the outer edge still being silver - bottom line.
- Right, the vents are only for the track, so why are they on the car when not at the track? They don't look "cool" on a stock car, but that is the intention of these pics. In all my track days, I haven't needed those vents even in 100* weather, so it's hard to believe you did those just because you get hot. There are hundreds upon hundreds and maybe thousands of Evos that track frequently without such a need.
- Nothing wrong with researching your suspension. I wholly agree with that and even went 2 full years myself without a single suspension mod. That included a full year of competitive SCCA Solo II in SM as well as HPDEs with NASA. However, I didn't post pics during that time of my car with window vents and big graphics as if it were "cool."
- So AMS is a shop where you bought parts like thousands of others. They are a great shop, and I'm sure they treated you very well. I don't know what part of that warrants a full graphic like their sponsored Evos unless you also are sponsored. I worked for my sponsors over the years and only run one sticker daily, which is for Exedy who requires it. The rest are on magnets for race events. It's a daily driver that I don't want to look tacky.

Groovy, don't even read Warrtalon's comments. He is always looking for an internet fight. Look at the entire thread and you will see each person commented the same except one person. Just be flattered he's jealous and do your thing.
It's called hate and it's rampant upon those who lack.
So you detail cars? I am looking for a car detailer. Maybe if you come down to Orlando we can do your calipers, bleed them and you can detail my car back to a mirror shine?

you know i think it's funny becuase the silver ring around the rims is a good idea. how many times as someone painted their rims and when it was time for a tire change the lip was all scratched? keeping it silver not only will prevent that but it's unique it's his style and most importantly he likes it!!!! the vents look awesome and are also a unique mod, like you said you never really see any evos around with them. i understand he posted pics for people to see and comment on good or bad but i think their are ways to give constructive critisim...which apparently you have issue with. but thats the warrtalon we know. each person wants something different that will never change. he's doing a good job in making his car his.
Keep it up Chris car looks great!!!
