  • Right, the vents are only for the track, so why are they on the car when not at the track? They don't look "cool" on a stock car, but that is the intention of these pics. In all my track days, I haven't needed those vents even in 100* weather, so it's hard to believe you did those just because you get hot. There are hundreds upon hundreds and maybe thousands of Evos that track frequently without such a need.
  • Nothing wrong with researching your suspension. I wholly agree with that and even went 2 full years myself without a single suspension mod. That included a full year of competitive SCCA Solo II in SM as well as HPDEs with NASA. However, I didn't post pics during that time of my car with window vents and big graphics as if it were "cool."
  • So AMS is a shop where you bought parts like thousands of others. They are a great shop, and I'm sure they treated you very well. I don't know what part of that warrants a full graphic like their sponsored Evos unless you also are sponsored. I worked for my sponsors over the years and only run one sticker daily, which is for Exedy who requires it. The rest are on magnets for race events. It's a daily driver that I don't want to look tacky.
That's all. If you think what you posted looks good, then fine, but if you really want it to look good, then swallow your pride and fix those 3 things (remove graphics unless sponsored, fix the silver lip, and remove the vents). JMO...
I could pick your reply apart like I did the last one but I have better things to do than waste time with you. Especially the part about doing things to be different means nothing. How ignorant. The one thing I'll take from your post that I agree with 150% is when you said "JMO." You have your own EVO this one is mine. If you don't like it...why don't you just quit coming back to this thread. Obviously you are the ONLY one that has a problem with my car so is my car that has the problem or is it you? A little reality check for ya!

Oh one more thing...since you claim you're "sponsored" by those shops, you should really think about how you're representing those shops with so called "posts" like this. I wouldn't want someone I sponsor displaying diarrhea of the mouth like you've displayed. No response is needed after this from you. If I need to hear from Warrtalon I'll take a dump and wipe cause I'll be getting the same thing but this way I can flush when Im done!

Have a good day Warrtalon!

It's called hate and it's rampant upon those who lack.

So you detail cars? I am looking for a car detailer. Maybe if you come down to Orlando we can do your calipers, bleed them and you can detail my car back to a mirror shine?
Sure do. I'll bring all my materials and hook you up. I'm not worried about warrtalon. He's not making my car payment so I could really give a rats a$$ what he thinks. I think B.O.B said it best "Haters everywhere we go." I'll try to get down there in a week or two.

Keep it up Chris car looks great!!!
Well put! C U @ D track 2nite! Hopefully I'll make some good passes. Oooh I got an idea...maybe Warrtalon can give me pointers.

I may have to get them soon. I'm itching to do something else to the car without spending too much right now.
