Hidden Boost Gauge
I actually have had this mounted here since this summer. Thanks to my friend MikS for pioneering/perfecting it on his car. I liked his idea so much I called him over for an install day to help me make mine.
Warning: yep - thats one dirty interior...sorry.

The gauge (Prosport 30/30 Green/White) is tucked in nicely into the ashtray. Realistically, I don't need to see the boost gauge every moment of every day. When I don't need it, I close the ashtray and its gone.
I had a steering column pod before. It blocked my gas gauge and MPH past 120. Neither really matter on the street, but on the track it was annoying. Couldn't see high speeds - important for some of the MI tracks. And more importantly, I could not see my gas gauge. Basically, I go through 1/4 a tank in 20 mins. Few track days I was well into the low light.
Why G/W? The radio is a greenish grey. Amber just didn't work there. During the day without my lights on its white. Once the headlights are turned on it turns green. And it is does zero - just the angle I was shooting at and the car is off.

The purpose of the gauge is for driver to monitor engine's condition... it is important that they are easy to see without taking eyes off the road for too long.
The best place to have gauges installed is the radio locations, they look clean, doesn't block anything, don't look ricey, and easy to see.

Ha - very funny Spish.
Nah, 98k and I never have needed to watch the boost gauge over and over. Would I put and oil pressure here? No. A/F...going to just get the laptop connector - log on that. Then I don't have to see it. Ill download the information.
336/328 DLL - stock turbo and cams...I would say its tuned right.
