hey ive go a ix, and want a CF trunk. but i like my evos with a wing.. and i really want to get an 8 wing.

im debating whether or not to make the 8 wing full carbon with the trunk, or painting the caps GG to match the car..

anyways ive never seen anyone with this done. the only think im worried about is mitsus CF pattern weave vs the carbon trunk weave if the pattern would match.

hmmmm i current dont have any pics size to post right now but i think it looks good without one... i had to keep mines on b/c it was used and it had holes in them already but i rather not have it... f u got the cf hood and the ur 8 is black its awesome and clean...

 

i have a grey ix. and i dont really like the RS look.. i just want to see an 8 spoiler on a CF trunk to look at the weave patterns

 

i dont have any pictures on hand to contribute but one thing to keep in mind with a carbon trunk and stock wing is that the stock evo wings are 1x1 weave and most carbon trunks are 2x2. i'm a stickler for details and many people overlook that. just a thought

i am in the same debate
over winter im buying a carbon trunk
gonna go wingless for a little and then gonna put my viii wing on it
i was trying to decide if i wanted to leave the sides painted or make them carbon
thought about it and i think if its all carbon its a bit too much
might look a bit ricey
