How does the IS250 compare to the VW? I'm in a similar situation and debating the IS.

 

well in general its the best value for the money. compared with 3series, A4, or C300, her lease payment is about $80-100 less per month than any of the German cars would have been (comparing fully loaded cars).
Overall, its a great car. typical lexus i every aspect.... She gets 28-30mpg on highway, or 21-23 in the city! and, its awesome in snow or bad weather!
However she says that it feels soft and bouncy on freeways. Claims her Jetta was more stable and she felt more in control of the car. who knows...

btw, wife drives a lot, about 80 miles each day. so she really gets to use the car.
