Project Mu "Level Max-900" Pads

Are these track pads only and not recommend for street use?

No. They are a street/track day pad not a dedicated track pad. They work well as a street/track pad and dont lack the cold bite of a full track pad. They will squel though so if you want a quiet crossover pad, these are not for you. We use them on the Evo and the STI and they work well on the street and track, but like I said before not a dedicated track pad. Kinda like a Hawk HP+ on steroids.

^True. They are extremely good and will stop from cold. Not at all track-only and require almost no warm up.

I'v been using them on stock rotors and yes, they do go through them rather quickly. However, on their Japanese website, they recommend using their SCR rotors (mine should arrive soon) and this should improve things.

Seriously, they're very good and the wear and squeal problems are worth it. You'll be surprised how good your brakes are with these pads.

Just to give you some idea of the wear, my fronts are at the minimum thickness (according to Mitsu) and they've been through three sets of pads:

1.)Stock pads
2.)Project Mu Titan Kai's
3.)Level Max 900
