Well, I did mine last Saturday

I used 2.5 cans of Black (might have gone a little heavy here and there - but no runs etc...)

I liked the regular blue tape - the light weight keep lifting from the Sun's heat.

Taping the round parts is a pain. Use a lot of short straight lines to form the circular areas.

I miss the Blue a little (can you believe it?)

But the Black looks really nice. (my camera sucks or I'd post the shots)

I plan on touching up a few tiny areas that either didn't get enough or had a tiny bit of tape in the way, by spraying some of the "paint" in the cap and using a small brush to dab a few blue dots here and there (only 2 or 3 places, you can't see them unless you are looking for them)

NICE! i'm glad theres another evo thats been saved from the blue nastys.

 

Think I'm going to have to do this over my Thanksgiving break. Awesome/unique mod. Is this stuff fairly available or would you need to order it?

 

So maybe I missed it but where do you buy the spray and the dobie pad?

 

^ i purchased the spray from Advance auto parts, or autozone, or discount auto(whichever one is in your state)lol

and you can pic the dobie up at any grocery store in the kitchen cleaning isle(walmart, publix, albertson's etc).

theres always plenty of it on the shelves of the places i listed. it should be there when you take a trip on over there buddy. :-)
