Yeah, it sucks because I can see the same as I could with the stock Halogens (which pretty much sucked), but my baller status went up since I now have HID output..white/blueish instead of yellow.

But yeah, even for having 8k in the camero, its insanely bright. Kinda pisses me off....but there is only so much I can do. Unless there is a way to angle the lights so that the drivers side light shines up more, like the passenger's does.

while we're on the subject and for anybody who has the OEM HIDs, does anybody else get an insane amount of people flashing their high beams at you? just about everytime i'm out in a not-so-well-lit area just about every other car that drives past me flashes their high beams at me. gets quite annoying after a while. and if they do it with enough distance between us i'll give a quick flash back to show i'm not running high beams, but i'm sure it pisses most people off.

u can check your bulb size there. all i know is for 04 RS, i'd be buying H11.

I just placed an order for 8000k HIDs on xenonlink.com it's $120 shipped. the cheapest i could find that's not ebay. sorry, i dont really like ebay stuff on my car.

+1 for mobile hid but at the same time after buying them i realized that ebay kits are not too bad either for the price. just dont buy the cheapest ones.

for example:

If you're going to go with 8000K, you should get a 55W kit. Because the 55W kit is about 35% brighter then 35W kit so it'll make up for the difference for the higher kelvin.

The only thing is that you'll need to run a wire and harness kit. The OEM wires will not give you enough juice to power the 55W.

That's what I'm running on mine right now.
