Which HID kit should I get?

any recommendations? I don't want the best available since i'm on a budget, just something cheaper that works well is fine. pictures of your HID's would be very helpful. Thanks.

i'm thinking about getting 8000k

Hopefully u know the higher u go the less light output you will have......

4300 is the brightest and is what is found oem on vehicles, usually a white light. 6000k has more of a blue tint to it and I read there is a 20% loss in light output from 4300k to 6000k. So going to 8000k is more just for looks than anything.....

the $80 HID kits on ebay are fine, you dont need to pay over $100 for an hid kit that performs like the $80 one. just dont buy the $30 hid kit.

total-lighting.com has done me very well. They Use Bosch ballasts and that's a damn good name. I have HID fogs and high beams, 3000K and 6000K respectively.

D2S for the projector, DC2 is the code for a acura/honda integra lol. and fogs I believe are H11. Could be mistaken

I have 6k in my Evo ($80 kit) and with the stock projects I have, it actually dims them some. My friend bought the same kind except 8k, and put them in his camero with no projectors and his light output was much more.

I would still to 4300k, 6k at MOST with our stock projects.
