I wouldnt say that i take any extremely good photos or any thing, but im just a hobbyist and some look pretty good IMO. Constructive Criticism is always welcome. Got my first DSLR last christmas, Nikon D3000. Some basic lenses, 15mm fish eye, 18-55mm, 55-200. Thats all, not even a good flash yet...

Photos look good.
You should pick up a 50mm 1.8 .. best lens for under $150
and save for a 60mm 2.8 - $450-700.

FLOW1 - Something about your pictures looks kind of odd. Not a real big fan of the positioning, king of seems like its not "all there" but thats just me

How do you like the D7000? my buddy just got one and he keeps trying more artsy shots but they are definatlly over done when he does it.

your pictures look awesome though, Im always a fan of rolling shots. How do you get them though? drive in a diff car? Im always scared to take them because i feel like im going to drop my camera lol.

Well heres some other random ones i have. sorry about all the fish eye pictures, after i got my lense it didnt come off my camera for a long time. It was the first non-stock lens lol

Random question...Has anybody ever used one of the online equipment rental places for photography equipment? I want to learn how to use different lighting setups both inside and outside, but dont have the money to buy all of the stuff...So was wondering if anyone could recommend a site, or a place to rent from.

boosted_EJ1, thanks for the criticism but what do you mean by all not there, like you want more stuff in the background or something??

I've only had this DLSR for about a week and a half now...

It might just be me, but it seems like the object you are trying to photograph is cut off. i know you were going for a not all in the frame look but try differnt positioning and having more in the picture if your going to do that. These new pictures are much better IMO. I know the feeling though, ive had mine for a year and a half or so now but its all practice, take lots of pictures and itll all come to you. Research differnt photo techniques, I.E. rule of 3rds, Bokeh, etc etc. Looking good though
