DSLR Photography for beginner - How to shoot like a Pro.
So I am looking at a Digital SLR camera right now and I also want to Have HD Video Capability. What are your some of your opinions and or experience with the Canon D550 aka the T2i? From what I have seen and Read for the Price it is a Good camera but would like to know what some of you think. I would think about a Canon 7D but I want to Stay under a $1000 for the camera so I can spend some money to get 2 or 3 good lenses. If I was to get the 7D I would probably be going well over 2k with everything I would like to get and if I went the T2i I could have everything I want for about $1500ish or less.
Thanks in advance

But back to your post between the two you mentioned I would get the t2i and pick up a 35mm L lens. The colors and pop that the lens produces before processing is superb
Check eBay you may find a used t2i for less. Cameras come and go but your lens last forever.
What kind of shooting are you going to be doing? Is hd a must or just a want? There are a few cameras that are not expensive that produce good images like 40d or the 50d. The 5D is a full frame sensor sized camera that can be had for around 800-1000

What do you guys recommend for photo editing? I can get anything Adobe for next to nothing so I have been thinking about Adobe stuff
I use Photoshop elements & lightroom it can do everything I need for editing a great combo used by many and costs next to nothing if u get the education discount.
Photoshop creative suite has it all more then you may even need. Compare the two I'm sure either one would suit your need.
And both can be purchased bundles with the video editor

A guy over on the www.genesisforums.org posted this shot yesterday. I thought I would share as I thought it was pretty bad ***.
