for those that are posting pictures, would you guys be able to add details about the photo? Details as in shutter speed, aperature, ISO, etc....and any post production work in photoshop (or any photo editor)? Im starting to get into the whole photography stuff and is very interested what people do to get their shots.

@megss00 - just go a little easier on the contrast when processing, and follow the 3rds rule!

I think I'm gonna try some rolling shots next, though it wouldn't be of my car since I don't trust people with my car or camera.

I told a friend of mine I am planning on buying a Canon T3i or wait for the T4i. He laughed and said don't waste my money.

He said he recently bought a Sony (link below) and said it the same if not better then the Canon.

Is he right?

Just give me some good arguments or a link to show him. Through PM's will be fine, so that the thread doesn't get cluttered. Or hell, might be some good info for noobs like myself.

I do plan to purchase the Canon, just waiting for the t4i specs to see if it is worth it.

LOL, he's comparing a point-and-shoot to an SLR? Just tell him that he can give you camera advice when he finally buys a big boy camera.
