Voltex front bumper install... help?

I installed a voltex front bumper today and I want to make sure everything was done right. The directions were in japo so I couldn't read it.

It came with a BUNCH of hardware that I found was not even needed. It just took the four screws up top, and three on each side of the fender walls. It came with brackets to hold up the middle but there was NO way it was fitting over the UICP. It feels pretty secure all around, and the fitment really is not that good.. no after market body parts are though.

Just want to make sure this sounds right.

Are you sure it was genuine, because Voltex stuff doesn't cost as much as it does for no reason. It should be near perfect fit, and you should use all of the supplied hardware; or as much as possible. That's why it's there.

Go find the guy and take som pictures.

I'm sure it's genuine because it came in the voltex box and has all the voltex stickers and has the voltex stamp on the inside of the bumper. The fitment is actually pretty good considering it's aftermarket, but I'm more worried about why none of the hardware supplied was needed.

The first picture is of the passenger side and this side had zero fitment issues:

The second picture is of the drivers side and there is a very small but noticable gap around the headlight:

Also, we couldn't get the screw inside the wheel well to tighten all the way; the screw is in all the way, or so it appears, but it won't tighten.

Overall the bumper looks very good, but why wasn't any of the supplied hardware needed?

Haha kk fine then...you guys really just needed to readjust the headlights, the bolts have a little bit of play left in them. And that's how you take care of the gap

haha I just had 4 zipties holding mine on for the last year You don't need all the screws and bracket... I think the brackets are for if you get the diffuser in the front or something... Should just bee all the same places as most of the stock ones for the stock bumper and my bumper kinda has the same small gap under the head light too.. Its not that noticeable unless you point it out lol.... Lets see more of this car
