HKS Kansai cf hood teaser pics
Just got it today (thnx Adam@Z1). Anyway, these are just teaser pics, I plan to post pics of the entire car soon.
Sweet 1x1 cf weave to match my trunk. Looks like all the OEM stuff will mount of well. Hopefully fitment is close to perfect too.

Hm... Stock looking CF. For the price I"m not digging it. I've seen plenty of cooler designed ones for a lot cheaper and just as good quality then having just a "stock" looking hood. Nice though.

^ Yea my goal was to not go with the Kung Fu Ultra Hyper Invader Edition hood with grills, cutouts, and other things that make the hood look like it shouldn't be attached to the car. I don't like body kits, huge wings, diffusers, etc. I wanted OEM look, OEM fitment and 1x1 cf weave. The only option was HKS Kansai.

Looks good, and has holes for washer nozzles!
let us know how it fits, how it looks and whatever else, cause so far, i havent seen a single CF hood that looks and fits like the OEM hood does.... and im not about to turn my Evo into a circus show...
But if this is it, im gettin one too!

Lets please not turn my Kansai Teaser Thread into a JDM vs Crappy Seibon or VIS thread but I will say this - they are junk, not 1x1 weave, and the majority of them dont fit well. Spending ~$500 on something that doesn't meet my needs vs spending ~$1000 on something that does? Doesn't seem like much of an issue to me. I'll gladly spend the extra $500 on something I want and not a knock-off.
^ i agree 100%! looking for a cheaper crappier alternative is pathetic. if u cant afford the real thing, thats fine, wait till u can... dont buy a knock-off on eBay. we dont drive '82 Datsuns u know
