I was thinking the same thing, I would have to say with the price of stuff on ams's website and I couldnt imagine their labor costs. Im thinking more like 6 stacks of 10k.

i think im gonna like this build up more than the blue devil and at the way its heading it looks alot more streetable than the drag car. does the owner have any plans on how far he wants to go? dedicated drag car? is it gonna be gutted? lexan? i wanna see a build of an evo to the point where you guys (AMS) had your drag car before (when u guys were still rocking the ccws). still streetable, still considered street car to an extent.

3 stacks of 10k wouldn't even cover the labor on this build. I wouldn't be surprised if there ends up being 400-500 hours into building a car like this.

This car will not be streetable. It is literally a dead copy of the AMS drag car, only MUCH cleaner, nicer, and well sorted out. I wont be getting as crazy with cutting brackets, rear shelf, and parts of the unibody out so this car may be a little heavier.

Upon completion, I think I will be going to the track with Gabe, sorting the car out, making some shakedown runs, and help him get his NHRA competition license to legally race it. Jumping into a car that has the capability of running well over 170 mph without some practice might be a bit scary!

Regards,
Eric

is he going with the same turbo as well, the 42R? I was curious to know if he was going to try out the 45R or not. After saying that, I don't think you guys were to found of the 45R though were you?!
