Picture of Omori gauges installed with din panel

Here's a picture sent to me from Thaison at J-Spec Tuning. The din shown here is the 3-gauge P105 din panel installed where the stock stereo was (the stock stereo was relocated to the where the stock gauges were). The din panel goes for $40 from J-Spec's site.

I like it, very clean and simple, and not all in your face.

Yep, those are 52 mm gauges. I got the 52 mm gauges that come with the red needle, black face, and adjustable backlight for $495 shipped for 3 gauges. The din panel goes for $40 from their site. I talked to this guy named Thaison at J-Spec Tuning and he helped me a lot by answering all my questions. The gauges individually are $175, but if you buy 3 you get $10 off each gauge. Shipping's free. Just e-mail them and they'll process your order quick. I ordered them yesterday and I got an e-mail confirmation and tracking number today that they were shipped out today. Should be here by Friday, according to the tracking number.

BTW, considering that Omori North America's going out of business, J-Spec Tuning has the gauges and din panel in stock at their store, but availability but might grow thin considering that Omori will no longer be shipping products to the US. J-Spec's actually not too far from Vishnu's shop and J-Spec supplies Vishnu with their gauges.

Why do gauges cost so much? Realistically speaking, they don't cost much to manufacturer, and most of the times, they're made of plastic, or some other cheap material that doesn't justify the cost in the hundreds.

Gauges cost so much mainly because of reasons you would not understand. Lets just put it this way, as the exactness of gauges increases, better materials, reading methodology, etc are needed. Precise gauges are not cheap. Plus sending units can vary in quality, obviously better ones will cost more.
