Detroit eh? Let me know if you're ever in Chicago. I'd pay for you to do mine.

I think it looks pretty good. Just like most, I'm a bit hesitant when it comes to the headliner. Other than the headliner and seat belt sliders, I have concerns about the sun visors as well. Do you think any fabric shop can re-cloth the parts? Would you be willing to take on this task if more evoM members show interest?

I would gladly take on this task for anyone interested, depends on if anyone wants to come to 48135 in MI. It's a very low cost mod, and quick to do.

The headliner is the hardest part, we do headliners at my shop so I have done a lot. We use special glue that comes in a 5gal drum and goes into a special gun, so it doesn't come falling off on you down the road.

The glue you use, whatever it may be, spray it on, and let it tack up for 5-10 minutes before laying down the material. That should clear up any bleed through

And it never hurts to spray the glue on both materials either, just go light on the suade

The steering wheel sucks, I'm not going to lie... Only because I had a bad experience. I had to make a tool to get the 8mm loose, once it was loose, and I pulled it off, the 2 harness's I had to unplug got snagged on the wheel itself and pulled my clockspring apart. Good thing none of the tabs that keep it locked together broke. It did take a while to get it back in the correct place though.

Did you have to sand the Trim around the radio and shifter console before painting it or did you just paint right over the stock paint?

It's nice to see someone else using this stuff. If you go to the Stealth Interior How-To I just made a post recommending this stuff. I use the flat black though.

It's WAY better than the stuff you get at Advance Auto.

I get the paint from the local Painter's Supply. Any place that deals with supplying auto body shops will have it.

It is the opposite of cheese. It looks 100% professional and OEM

Yeah, I used grey scotchbrite pad on all panels before paint

Looks good! How does the paint hold on the handles attached to the headliner? They are rubber so I wasn't sure how it would hold.
