I put the wing back on and drove around for an hour or so since it's so nice out. The only negative responce I got is when some lady in an explorer cut me off, I had to swerve out of the way. She gave me a dirty look. Because it's MY fault that she's a dumb *****

Put your wing back on. Wingless looks like something is missing from the car. Don't listen to those idiots on the road, they're a**holes with everybody, they have a ****ty life and that's how they feel better. It's pathetic.
Have you seen the bumper sticker "lost your job yet? keep buying foreign". that's how they think.
Do whatever "you" think looks better. Ask your friends who care, not the a**holes on the road. That's what really matters.

Winged FTW. I too toyed with the idea of removing it, but for two reasons. Most importantly because it obstructs a bit of the rear view, but also because I thought it might look a bit more civilized. Then I said screw it, it's not a civilized car, it's an Evo.
As for the negative comments, ooh I get those a lot. I remember a time I came on here, made a post about a guy screaming at me to slow down (I was going about two miles under the speed limit), and got flamed to hell and back. People insisted there was no way the dude would have yelled at me if I wasn't speeding...but I assure you, when people hear a loud car they automatically associate that sound with speed. Why else would people throw fart cans on Civics?

I did show my friends. They all like it wingless. I put the wing back on and I think that's how it'll stay. I do have a new found respect for being wingless though
