Either way the car would look great i would prefer wingless tho, i like the wing and all but being able to look in your rear view mear without tilting your head up or down to see where your going would be nice....

 

i want those tails =[..i think it looks great either way...how easy was it to remove the spoiler? is there a pictured diy on here?

 

It's bolted on by four bolts. Unbolt it and take a razor blade to the double stick tape. Be VERY careful with the razor blade. It's tough to get off only due to the tape. Sometimes you can heat it with a heatgun.

 

Ok besides the purely cosmetic look opinions -

Does anyone have some real world experience at high speeds with and without the wing, and with the spoiler lip, and no wing with rear diffuser?

I want no wing because it helps keep me under the radar here in CA, but I'm not about to do it if things become dangerous at speeds over 100. We all know how quickly a modded Evo can do 70-140 - I want to make sure when that sweeper comes up the rear end isnt going to come around at 140+

I'm hoping to find a combo of rear spoiler and diffuser that will keep the rear from getting too light at very high speeds. The aero components on the Evo are a system, monkey with the system and you may have problems, or lose out considerably.

I've heard some say at 120+ with no wing it gets light - any confirmations?
