Well i broke a bulb doing my double din conversion today. Well i need to know the type of bulb in the hvac controls. Went to the parts store and they laughed at me. So if anyone knows the size of this bulb please help. Also anyone know where to get lightbulb condoms at. Did color my guage bulbs red before worked great for a while but worn now i just want to get condoms for every bulb in the interior switchs hvac cigerette lighter key etc.

 

When you pull the faceplate off, you will see that there is some sort of "fiber optic" plastic thingy that disperses light under the stickers. Its hard to tell what kind of bulb is under there. If I remember correctly it looked to be an LED, in which case its not going to be very easy to replace them. If you are trying to get them to be an amber color, perhaps using the Krylon Amber Stained Glass paint on the fiber optic plastic part will get the desired effect.

 

nope its a regular bulb with a blue condom on it. Im going to paint with a craft paint just need that bulb ah. Just cant read the letters are smuged.
