You did it for a laugh?

That's not flutter dump, that's compressor surge, the sound your turbo makes when it gets spun in the opposite direction. Expensive for a good laugh.

Go pick up a neon srt-4 if you want to be a jackass. Damn, are things like this going to become more common the cheaper our cars get?

Cheers.

I like it. I hate you missed out on the "rainbow" effect, but $200 extra dollars? Wow. IS there some sort of finish/clear coat on it? Would it be as simple as sanding it down and putting a torch to it and reclearing it?

No wait, nevermind - probably not a good idea.

thought about it, haha... i don't know why they don't just make them all like that and charge one price. Sales person wouldn't even know that most of the time.

What part of backwards don't you understand? Take your DV and flip it around. The bronze cap should not be facing up, rather down and toward the turbo.

You haven't noticed how ****ty your car drives?

This post is bolded to be noticed for the OPs benefit.

Here's a pic of another ARC evo with a correctly mounted DV. The ARC intake is designed the same as the stock one:

The exterior is nice. Never liked how ARC parts look iin the engine bay, looks like a gay pride advertisement. Just my opinion.

parts that make ur car go faster and work better are nice. i also like ur wheels alot. But the "rainbow" effect i am not a fan of as it is played out to much. i would like to see something different.

posibly a painted valve cover, not sure what color since ur engine bay is so many colors, or a nice tubular manifold would help out ur engine bay look alot. also consider getting a different timing belt cover

The rainbow effect is bc of them anodizing it...$200 is a pretty penny for it...

You could rig up your own anodizing setup....and DIY
