Back In The Mixx... JDM Style!
Before I begin, If you want to read the whole story; Here are the threads:
Before The IX Becomes "JDM"
Remixx02's JDM Evo Hunt
So I finally got my Evo V GSR. I paid about $11k for it with everything including an Evo VI bumper, HID's, Tints, Blacked out headlights/LED's and a sound system. The car's got roughly 65,000 miles and it's a single owner (I'm second obviously). On an island that's ran by military, it's really hard to find cars that haven't been passed around like a dollar bill.
Here are some pics taken before I got my new head unit installed today:

Here's what it will look like very soon with the exeption of being yellow and different rims:

Ok, now for the Break-Down:
The V doesn't have that "rawness" like the IX does, however; The V is very user friendly. It's true power is disguised and I can honestly say that if you get a person that knows nothing about cars; They wouldn't even know it's turbo'd. The car's response is good but nothing compared to the IX. I'm honestly disappointed with the handling of the V. After having the V for a week, I can say that I like my IX MR a lot better but that just means I got a lot of work to do to the V
.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Wow beautiful car and congrats on the buy. Have been following the other thread where you were car shopping, and wanted to ask if while shopping for the "V", did you ever consider an NSX (which ever trim), and if you did see one how much if you dont mine. Again congrats on the Evo; she's a beauty. GL with the build too and be safe.

interesting info on the drivability of the car, i have heard comparisons between the 6 and the 9 and the 6 is a skosh faster acutally so its interesting to here about the handling and power delivery. as far as not feeling like a turboed car, what do you mean? not a much of a instant OH THERES BOOST feeling or what?
