1st time the Evo saw the track

Sup guys, thought I'd share some picture from today. Went up to my local track today, basically my 2nd home and took out the Lotus, Neon and oboviously the Evo. I had brand new pads in the Neon as of wed and they just got seated. However the brakes went to pure **** after 2 laps so I must have a bubble in the line, however I measured brake temps everything was well, well over my 500* reader could handle. So idk, I have rbf600 in it.
The lotus as allways was great. and the Evo I had brand new hps pads and crossdrilled and slotted rotors on it and maby 70 miles on them of me trying to bead them before it went on the track for 5 easy break-in laps.
Got the thing out there and I must say, I'm less than impressed by the brakes on the evo the pads are almost all the way seated but it just doesn't have any bite, to progressive of a pad maby.
Anyways, what you all came for.... the pics.

My new lug nuts

The ride is now about .5inch lower than the lotus you can see in the background

Got a chance to run the cars backwards on the track and it was AWSOME.
I got only one side of headlight tint in and I think it looks pretty good, deff stands out a lot, more or less on the same level as people that have green rims.

Special thanks to BeaveRun Motorsports Complex

Yeah, I got it off ebay and the dude messed up and sent me only one side, wtf??
So the other should be in on monday and ill toss it on. I saw it origionally on a black 06 sti and it looked great, idk im undecided it deff is unique. Gotta get rid of all this plowing the evo does. Gonna get a stiff rear sway bar.
What do you think black would look like? anyone wanna photoshop one?

Good to hear that you're trying your cars out. Evo should be out on track.

Yeah, the yellow looks good, I'm gonna put em on when I get it. I got the lugs off ebay and yeh any lugs fit on stock wheels because its a m12x1.5 which is thinner than stock anyways.

Must be nice to have a nice selection of cars and on top of that be able to run them on the track regularly. Keep us updated on the brake situation with the evo.

Yeah, I just spent some time after my fireworks cleaning it and getting underneath the car. After close examination of the rotors and pads there not fully seated, im not used to breaking in street pads so maby these have more of the coatings on them, no way they shouldn't be fully seated by now. The pads we use in our race cars fully bed in about 4 laps, and its using R8 rotors and calipers so its nothing "crazy" either, these just didn't want to grab. I cleaned them so tomorrow I'll do some more testing with them.
