So how is it performing after 2-3 years of installing it?? My intercooler has a hole and looking for replacement. Do you think it would be a better stock replacement than Mishimoto intercooler??

I was very amazed after my buddy got this and put it on his car. Putting out just over 400whp with no issues. I ordered and got mine in last week for $220 shipped! Installing it on Friday and pretty stoked, though I'm thinking of painting it black or maybe just the end tanks, we'll see.

i think the VSFR 4" is the best "cheap" intercooler option right now. OBX is not known for making quality parts.

Quality and cheap don't normally go together.

run this with 800+hp.... no problems. No heat soak. Aluminum is aluminum and size matters. Has been on the car for over 2 years through a 6262, 6466, 6266, and 6766 coming this week. Buy with confidence, it works at 45psi too.

"bad" OBX ... 34.00"x 11.50" x 3.50"
"GOOD" ETS... 24x11.5x3.5

YOU do the math, and the ETS is good for... 1127cfm-750hp at 80% efficiency

P.S..... I live in Florida.

Don't know where the extra 10inches(left and right side end tanks?) of length are on the OBX that the ETS doesn't have? Based on pictures they seem to fill the same amount of space in the front bumper opening.

Found my answer. ETS measures the core size, that OBX size figure includes the end tanks as well. Both cores measure the same. Look below taken from an Ebay ad for OBX intercooler.

Specifications:
End To End: 34.00"x Height: 11.50"x Thickness: 3.50".

Core Size: 24.50".

Inlet/Outlet: 2.50".

correct... my only point was that this "bad" "cheap" cooler is just as efficient as the $800 one and that if someone is trying to save money where they can, this is one place it can be done.
