I think the pictures you quoted outline the process pretty well. As you can see in the 3rd picture the stock bumper beam is cut short on the ends. It's also modified in the middle - but that doesn't have any relation to the tow hook. Just get in there and do some test fitting etc and the path you need to follow makes itself pretty clear.



I made this in my Computer Aided Manufacturing as one of my projects. It came out fairly well some mistakes here and there but overall it turned out great.

Where do you guys get raw carbon fiber? It seems obscenely expensive where I've seen it. It's a shame. We're working on a carbon fiber weaving system at work for another company but it's all in unwoven form and I have no idea how to set it up to weave sheets.
