I did similar stuff to my MR2 many many moons ago. Spent to much time trying to keep the car clean and then the engine bay was just another hour of cleaning each week. heh.

Are you going to paint the strut bar as well? My mr2 engine bay ended up looking like a condiment stand, heh. the 2 ended up with a Yellow cross bar, white I/C piping, red intake piping.
