Even if it is protected with paint? How did it get cracked when nothing touch it? Should I still get that one from eBay then? Since that is more affordable.

I think I might keep it black now after seeing the color-matched ones. The reason is because the antenna didn't blend with the VG too much. Like I said, maybe the other colors OK. with color-matched, the antenna look so short.

so i'm reading this thread and wondering to myself... how much are these things (thinking like around the 80-100 range...) the ebay ones--10 buks. You can just order 2 and stil be ahead! the shipping is 2ice as much but whatever. cheep good looking mod. Keep it black especially if you have tinted windows.

CF, ww, or tarmac black...the "oem black" color has a metallic look to it, almost GG, i didn't care for it.

I think the eBay ones are not $10, it's $30 shipped, then I gotta buy paint like $12 black and clear. so probably $42.

So you said the OEM one has a metallic look? or was it just pure black? so should i get a metallic black spray can or tarmac black? or tarmac black is metallic? thanks for pointing this out.

By the way, is the installation difficult? Found a thread about this, so would the eBay ones have bad fitment?

So did you picked up one from eBay? how's the quality and the fitment? as the thread in evotuners, they mentioned that there is no company has one that guaranteed the fitment. Any idea where I could get one that fits instead of getting one for cheap that don't fit? but of cuz, cheap one that fits is always good

I thought you were getting it from like rexpeed or somewhere....if you buy it painted in "oem black", it has a metallic look to it, doesn't really look black. if you buy from them and want a true black color, buy the tarmac black.

As far as painting it yourself, not sure what color to use, some sort of semi-gloss black with a clear coat. flat black could look cool, but probably wont match the rest of your car, and you're going to have to clear over it anyhow.

I was having this same debate, but opted for the painted version from Rexspeed. My opinion...

Color matched FTW

Hey Lacer Man,
How much are those weather guards (or whatever it call) on the windows? I'm thinking to get one of those.
