Thanks for the info. Back to the topic, as i read thru some thread about installing the VG. It looks like a scary job to me since I don't have any experience on that. Taking the weather strips off the car looks hard, and the thing is will that not work as new when I put it back on? Will it leak water since reinstalling will not work as new (for some parts)?

The weather stripping is very easy to pop off. And once off, you can see that it actually doesn't "seal" water, but more directs the water. The car is sealed against the water with other gaskets (like around the rear window). The roof is welded, so it's just there again for water direction. I've installed the VG on two difference Lancers now and seriously the hardest part is getting it perfectly centered/aligned with the roof/window

Thanks for the info. I might try that when the time comes. Hope I don't mess it up.
