evo going into car wash

i have been taking my evo to a hand wash since i bought it, it doesent cost too much 15 to wash car and vacume interior, and 25 to wax.

i am skeptical of taking into a machine car wash, thinking it is not safe for the wing, in other words in might get damaged.

anybody here been taking their evo w/wing through regular carwash on a usual basis?

Around here we have "touchless" car washes that just use high pressure water and suds.

I'll trust those, I won't trust the brushes.

mine will never see the brush things....or even the brushes at the pay wash(yourself) if possible I like to do mine at home, but lately I have been going to the thing where you pay and do it yourself, but I have just been using the hot highpressure/soap/water sprayer, then spraying wax, and then spot free rinse...and then ill pull it out and put the Absorber on it.

Find out if the car wash uses a soap that strips wax or not. If not, get a good coat on there before the winter and keep using the place.

I take mine to the regular carwash and have no problems so far. The place used cloth brushes which are supposed to not leave any marks on the mark. I have been to that same carwash a few dozen times and have no visible issues on the wing or car.

I work at a car wash, and we wash EVO's all the time, but i wouldnt do it. It will leave swirl marks, even if its soft cloth.
