That is ****ing slick. Did you have to remove the display from the housing? Or did you stick the entire Zeitronix back there with no modification?

That looks awesome! I know you said that you don't use those vents, but did you block the internal ducts so the display doesn't get too hot or too cold?

that does look pretty cool. i would not sacrific my vents opening and closing but if you never use them so you say then cool. either way NICE install

The vents are still in use, I just can't close them. There is still duct work that comes from the car to the vent so the display doesn't have direct contact with the air.

Yeah i had to separate the display from the housing and then separate the circuit boards, rewire, and do some modification the the vent trim to get it to fit. There should be some pictures of it on the first page farther down.

Thanks!

I've never closed off the vents in any car i've had so having them stuck open is not a problem. I just use the fan speed knob
